Greeting to all the Groups
from the General Direction in Rome

Rome, January 16th - February 19th, 2012. The General Direction is in session at Rome in preparation for the experience of the "International Animation Group" (IGA), with the participation of the Area Coordinators.

A major part of the work these days is the preparation of the draft of the General Direction´s Plan, along with the lines of action adopted in the past Cenacle. We are also addressing issues in various areas, monitoring the establishment of the commissions that were appointed in the Cenacle, administrative and financial matters delegated by the Cenacle to the Direction, and preparing to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Proclamation for a Better World, on February 10. We will return to the preparation of this celebration on the next few days.

The most rewarding experience is meeting as brothers and sisters, the joy that generates to see the growth in enthusiasm and that the Group maintains that hope inspired by the Lord in order to build the Kingdom of God. Several Groups have been or will soon be celebrating their National Convivenzas or significant national encounters. Such are the cases of Puerto Rico, Mexico, South Korea, Argentina, Poland, Ivory Coast and Belgium. Also the Italian National Group will hold its “Conduzione participativa" (extended Direction experience) while we are at the IGA. Perhaps other Groups hold meetings that we do not know of.

We extend to you all our greeting and, at the same time, we invite you to make contact during these days in a special way, so that we as a team can enjoy greeting you from the International Centre.
