The organisation of the Group is intended to enable us to fulfill our aim of "re-making the world".
Each national group is organised according to this pattern:The first organisational level is for the purpose of creating awareness; some key ideas such as world-mindedness, openness to others, the common good, brother/sisterhood, dialogue, communion, solidarity... have to enter into the collective psychology otherwise it is not possible to aim at transforming situations. Many can promote this awareness within their own local geographical areas, in the environments in which they live. The second organisational level is for deepening. An awareness or openness to ideas and values has to be deepened so that they become a conviction that then shapes our life as community. This leads to a new style of life, a new sensitivity. Tthis work of deepening is done on a wider level by teams, according to their different abilities and competence. The third level of organisation is for a commitment in fact, planned and progressive. The values of solidarity and communion must be translated into models of life together, in a communitarian life, in a new style of being and being together. The aim of “remaking the world” has to become fact in particular communities, in the family-community, in the school-community, in a hospital-community, in a church-community. And all aspects of life - politics, economy, culture, theology, spirituality, pastoral must serve and embody this communitarian life of solidarity-communion. The promotion of these operative processes is the work of a small team of 3-7 persons full time. The national groups are coordinated among themselves in geographical Areas. All the Groups and Areas make up a single world Group. Every four years those responsible for the Groups, the Areas and the worldwide Group come together in assembly. Here they evaluate their life and action, decide the four-yearly planning and elect the five members of the general leadership team as well as the Coordinators of the Areas.
