Rome, 22 May 2007. The first week of this 5th. General Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Bishops was characterised by the presentation of the reports of the 22 presidents of the Episcopal Conferences, of the representatives of the Roman Curia and of some specially invited persons. At the beginning of the second week the outline of the Document was presented. Various commissions will work on the 7 main points that as a whole follows the See, Judge and Act logic from the three keys aspects of this Conference: disciples, apostles, life. 1. The present situation of Latin America and the Caribbean; 2. The joy of being disciples and missionaries of Jesus Christ; 3. Our Vocation of disciples and missionaries; 4. The community of missionary disciples of Jesus Christ; 5. The journey of the missionary disciples; 6. The mission of the missionary disciples; 7. Pastoral conversion and different areas of the pastoral task.
